The 2019 Alumni Weekend featured the 13th annual Athletics Wellness and Recreation Golf Tournament at Apple Greens Golf Course, along with the Inaugural Athletics Wellness and Recreation Wine Tour. The event took place Friday, April 26, prior to Alumni Day held on campus Saturday, April 27.

The 13th annual Golf Tournament was held at Apple Green Golf Course in Highland, NY Friday, April 26 with a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start. The event was a four-person scramble and the fee was $150 per golfer. The package for participating golfers include: 18 holes of golf, golf cart, tournament gift, breakfast, dinner, course beverages and opportunity to win raffle prizes.

Inaugural Wine Tour

The Athletics Wellness and Recreation department held its first Alumni Weekend Wine Tour event Friday, April 26. Participants will get picked up at Apple Greens Golf Course at 10:30 a.m. and will be dropped off at Apple Greens at 4:30 p.m. Participants will be toured through Robibero Family Vineyards, Benmarl Winery and Nostrano Vineyards and will be provided lunch along the trip 
First stop was at Robibero Family Vineyards: Located at 714 Albany Post Road in New Paltz, Robibero is a family-oriented Winery that allows customers to experience a wide assortment of wine ranging from red to white. Along with several options to choose from, this winery includes white wine such as "Chardonnay" and red wine such as "New Yorkie Dry Rose". For any wine appreciators, this is certainly a stop you don't want to miss!

Second Destination at Benmarl Winery: As you arrive at 156 Highland Ave in Marlboro, you may be pleased to see that Benmarl Winery overlooks the Hudson River Valley. Additionally, this winery takes pride in it's rich and deep-rooted history, as it is said to be located in one of "America's oldest Vineyards". Some drinks that are offered here include hometown style wines such as "Marlboro Village Red" and "Marlboro Village White".

Last Call for Alcohol: As you make your final stop at 14 Gala Lane in Milton, you will arrive at Nostrano Vineyards. With their wine made strictly from Hudson Valley Grapes, Nostrano assures their customers that a great experience will be provided. In the tasting room, you may notice that you are overlooking a farm and vineyard vista! Music will also be provided as you enjoy your last tour.
