2017 Program
NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – On Wednesday April 5, the Department of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation at the State University of New York at New Paltz inducted 32 student-athletes into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society during a luncheon at the College Terrace.

Senior men's swimmer Matt Alfultis
Chi Alpha Sigma is a non-profit organization established to recognize college student athletes who earn a varsity letter in at least one sport while maintaining a
3.40 or higher cumulative GPA throughout their junior and senior years.
Making remarks at the ceremony were
John Sharp, the Faculty Athletics representative, as well as
Danielle Strauchler, Assistant to the Director of Athletics. Senior men's swimmer
Matt Alfultis also spoke during the luncheon.
