The AWC would like to keep the soccer ball rolling by announcing that this week's Tournament Tuesday event will be Soccer Tennis at 7p.m. on the Tennis Courts behind the AWC.

This is a game that will truly showcase your soccer skills!

Soccer Tennis is an event that combines aspects of tennis, volleyball and soccer; the game is simple, keep the ball in the air.

2 Players will stand on opposing sides of the court and have to use different soccer volleys to keep the ball in play. As always with soccer, the use of one's hands is prohibited. Players will volley the ball with the inside of their feet, their laces, thighs, chests and heads to one another before serving back to the other side of the court over net. 

Similar to volleyball, each team can only touch the ball, at most, three times before serving it over. Further, the ball can be volleyed over at any point during the return.   However like tennis the ball can bounce on your side once.

If one team cannot return the ball, allowing for it to drop to the floor, the team that served the ball is awarded a point. The first team to reach 25 points advances to the next round and eventually the title!

As always, this event is open to all students, faculty and staff, and Registration is welcomed online but is not necessary.
