NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz softball, baseball and women’s lacrosse programs will celebrate Alumni Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 with alumni games in each respective sport.
Both the women's lacrosse and baseball alumni contests are set to begin at 10 a.m. The baseball alumni game will take place on Loren Campbell Memorial Field, while the women’s lacrosse alumni game will take place on the Turf Field.
Softball's alumni game will occur at 12:30 p.m. at the Field of Dreams Complex (located behind the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz). All softball alumni should meet in front of Elting Gym at 11:30 a.m. to head over to the Field of Dreams Complex as a group. A home run derby will follow at the conclusion of the 12:30 p.m. game and will end at 3 p.m.
A reception that includes all three sports will occur from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Student Union Building Lower Level Conference Room.
