Hawks Conclude York Tournament with Win

JAMAICA, NY- The New Paltz men's volleyball concluded the York Tournament with an easy victory over the host team, 3-0 (30-19, 30-19, 30-17) to improve to 13-14 overall. The Hawks return to action tomorrow at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Bard Tri-Match with Yeshiva. Both games will be NECVA Metro Division games.
Mike Van Tyne led the Hawks with a game-high 15 kills with blocks and four digs, including a .545 hitting percentage.
Sean Foley added eight kills and four service aces and
Kevin Stross chipped in with eight kills and three blocks.
Frank Ciccone handed out a game-high 39 assists and added three service aces.
