For the third year in a row, the New Paltz women's cross country team has earned the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team honors.  The Hawks had an cumulative team grade point average of 3.37. 

To qualify for the honors, a team must compete in the NCAA Regional Championship and finish the season with a minimum grade point average of 3.10.  Among 10 SUNYAC schools, New Paltz was one of five to receive the award and finished second of the five SUNYAC schools to receive the award.  A total of 153 Division III women's cross country programs received honors.
