NEW PALTZ, NY- Sophomore Brittany Bennett was awarded the lacrosse MVP for the 2009 season at the athletic ceremony held on May 6, 2009. Bennett started all 15 games and led the team with 35 points on 31 goals and four assists. She was 9-12 on free position shots, won 44 draw controls and scooped up 29 ground balls in the teams first season.
